NILAI- “Teenagers should aware not to practice in chemical drugs,” said the Deputy of PEMADAM club, Mohd Noor Mat Saman, 61, Perlis.

            He said, if someone involve in chemical drugs soon will be addicted and he would be more aggressive as normally before.

            “Even professional get high influence because want to achieve excellent in studies and to stay up late at night for study,” he said when promoted the campaign Fair of awareness Drugs and Aids 2008 in USIM recently. 

He also said that among these professionals that desire to stay strong for a couple days would drink coffee mix up with medicine like paracetemol.  

            The campaign Fair is co-organised by Unit Kaunseling dan Pembangunan Sahsiah(UKPS), Kelab Pembimbing Rakan Universiti( PRU), Jaksa Nilam Court dan Camelia Court. Mohd Noor Mat Saman said students should be more alert and not take it for granted after these. 

            Nadiah Ramlan, 22, FPQS (Secretariat PRU), said that with this Fair may give some impact among students on important of hygiene and to avoid from involve in drugs and aids. 

            “We open up with this Fair for six days to give awareness of dangers involve in drugs and aids because there are statistic shown very high among teenagers who get influence in it,” she said. 

            Suhaila Samsudin, 20, Matriculation said, “these Fair should be held more frequently as to remind among us important to stay healthy without drugs and aids.” She also said that after this campaign, we would be more conscious in our daily life. 

            Besides campaign fair, there are also quizzes, competition and visits to jail in Sungai Besi and care center HIV Aids Cheras.
